trekking at eden

**there are friends who stick with you more than a brother does***

an adventure with good-old-time-all-the-time-friends at eden.
( By the way, Eden Nature Park & Resort is a beautiful manmade resort at the foot of Mount Talomo, Toril, Davao City.
It is trly a testament to how man's ingenuity and concern for the environment can create a paradise on earth, making Eden a must-visit ecological tourist destination in the Philippines.
At 3,000 feet above sea level, Eden now serves as home to over 100,000 pine trees, beautiful gardens, orchards, animal sanctuaries and other flora and fauna thriving in their natural environment.)






i thought it was just going to be an ordinary sight seeing, exploring eden day..
but i was dead wrong..
we tried their 4 km mountain trail!
yup, 4 km it is!
with all the creeks, trees, vines, and steep climbs one can ever imagine!!!
armed with sunglasses, a pair of havainas, a packful of foods,
we started the terrain...
and start pa lang, we were already lost!!!
we were heading to the national high way exit..hahaha
what a way to start a mountain trail!!!
nonetheless, we still head out towards the steep slopes and slippery forest floors.
and true to the mountaineer's dictum,

we took nothing but pictures..
pictures and more pictures!
even if it means risking our lives in the boulders, we still took pictures!

we killed nothing but time...
partly because it was getting really late and we were afraid to get caught in the forest when the moon takes over the sky but mainly because we were afraid that the resto will run out of food for us...hahaha..what a motivation!

we left nothing but footprints
literally footprints, because i was walking barefoot!.my havainas didn't have the spikes but it did endure the trek..my oh my, am i proud!!!
which makes it all the more exciting and fulfilling!
(will havainas please give me freebies for the promotion?)

we brought home nothing but memories
(and lots and loads of laughters too!..and may i include muscle pain??.hahah)
ya, muscle pain that we (shoys and i) didn;t have the energy to make it to our own homes.we ended up sleeping at sir hope's pad and eat and read wowowillie yes issue and sleep until 11am and eat again...

hahahha=)
